I shouldn't allow myself to get philosophical right before bedtime...
My favourite bit is when the Mary Sue-ite says "I like flares, it's refreashing to get flares."

*laughs and laughs and laughs, but the quietens down and just smiles, only with an oddly sad look in her eyes*

I'm also mildly scared by the fact that someone I know ([info]hugsnkisses_) posted in that thread - along with a completely random person whose journal I stumbled upon just the other day. It's a really small world.

Unfortunately, the world seems to contain people whose singular function is to make my head ache wondering about... well, everything. The value of writing, the value of an opinion... Ugh, and I thought that bad fanfic was a Mary Sue-ite's worst weapon.

Well I suppose LJ is a small world. Especially if you're involved in something like fandom.

The Harry Potter fandom is huge, though... and the collective fandoms ought to be massive. So it's weird that I should happen to see you, no? (Especially as I got there from LJdrama.org, and not the link in your blog. o.O)

*cannot remember the "Small World" song, so just sings "Weasley Is Our King" instead*

Ah but LJD stole the link off Fandom Wank where I happen to be a mod.

And while the HP fandom is massive, and the LJ one pretty big interacting in them daily would greatly increase the chance of meeting someone you knew.

Aaah, I see. ^^;;

I don't exactly interact in the HP fandom daily, though. I have [info]hpart, [info]hp100 and [info]thegraybook on my friends list, but that's about my extent of fandom interaction.

Except for Artemis Fowl, of course. O.O But everyone in the AF fandom knows everyone else in the AF fandom, so that doesn't really count...

*blinks* I still don't recognise the song. But then I don't have speakers to listen to it. x.x;;
