I did write some of that drunk!Holly fic last night, but I haven't finished it yet. I'm having a lot of trouble with it. The characters being drunk, they've developed a tendency to go off on a tangent or do something that makes no sense. I can't get them to even go in the vague direction of the ending. If I ever manage to arrive there, I'm going to have to do some serious editing. And I also have the slight problem of having forgotten what the main point is that the fic was supposed to make. (Why do I keep doing that??)
Plus I am slightly disturbed to realise that every fic I have in progress right now centers on the girls. What's even more disturbing is, I've realised this is a trend that's been going on for ages. I know I've never really focused on the guys that much but over the last couple of years it all seems to have become about the girls.
I think I need to do an about-face and write something all about the guys.
Today Lily put up the second chapter of "His Son's Father" which then went AWOL for a little while, but it's now back. Hurrah! 'Cos it's frelling awesome. Seriously, if you are not reading this fic, start now. Someone needs to nom this for an Onion.
Also tonight was the last part of The Golden Hour - which is frankly rubbish but it has Richard Armitage in it so we were watching anyway. Who wrote the scripts for this thing?? The cast are making the best of the material, but, seriously, the material's crap. Something to sort out if they have a second series, which it sounds like they might be...
The Orion Awards forums are melting my brain, I'm going to go and write fic. Maybe.

*gasp* What is this? Kitty said she was going off to write fic and she actually did? And it is a fic that centers on the male characters? How is this possible? *world faints*
